Adding Roby a Team/Channel

Step 1)

In Microsoft Teams, open the app store and select Roby.

Step 2)

Click the dropdown arrow to the right of the open button and select “add to a team”

Step 3)

Select a team, and a channel under that team. In this example, it’s the Support and requests channel under the Company team.

Step 4)

Now you can turn any message into a trackable ticket by mentioning “@Roby” somewhere in the message.

Step 1)

Go to the channel of your choosing, and click the “+” button.

Step 2)

From there, type “Roby” in the search bar and select the Roby app you want to invite to your team.

Submitting Public Requests

Public request: A request that happens in a public channel or contains information that the requester wants visible to the rest of their team. Ex: “coffee machine is broken” or “where can I find the vacation policy?”.

  • To subnit a public request:

Directly post your requests in a channel with a tag to Roby. Ex: “@Roby where can I apply for a parking pass?”.
